The Wagon Peoples, it is said, slay strangers. The words for stranger and enemy in Gorean are the same."
-- Nomads of Gor, page 9
Beware - full force collar - full force kill zone
The Wagon Peoples grow no food, nor do they have manufacturing as we know it. They are herders a, and it is said, killers. They eat nothing that has touched the dirt. They live on the meat and milk of the bosk. They are among the proudest peoples on Gor, regarding the dwellers of the cities of Gor as vermin in holes, cowards who must fly behind walls, wretches who fear to live beneath the broad sky, who dare not dispute them the open, windswept plains of their world.-- Nomads of Gor, page 4
DO NOT ENTER WITHOUT READING:
You are on Gor, the planet where men dominate all life. You are on the vast plains of Turia that stretch for thousands of miles. The plains are ruled by the Wagon People: the Kataii, the Paravaci, the Kassar and the strongest and the best, The Tuchuk.
The Tuchuk are a strong and valiant people, they are fun loving but do not tolerate any violation of their rules. The Tuchuk are divided into professions called clans, whose primary function is not just to care for their own family, but to supply the entire camp. The large ambling bosk are the life blood and livelihood of the Tuchuk. There is nothing more important to them than a large thriving herd.
UBAR’S AUTHORITY: Ubar Shadow Wolf's word is Law. He is Ruler, Judge and the final say on all things.
If you cannot handle that do not come into the room and do not even think about becoming a member.
As with each place on Gor there are three main groups of people: Men, Free Women and slaves. Each have their place.
MEN: The men of Tuchuk are strong men and industrious. Each belongs to a Clan, there are NO Caste system here, and each works hard at their livelihood to support their camp and to protect the Bosk. Examples of clans would be Wagon Makers, Coopers, Wheelwrights, Outriders, Blacksmiths, Sleen Trainers and Handlers etc. There is no clan of warriors, as each man is expected to be able to fight to protect the bosk and the camp.
The Men of Tuchuk spend little time looking for spars as the camp and their professions require the vast majority of their time and effort. Here in Tuchuk a Man is fully responsible for His women. If they make a mistake, He punishes them and is held accountable to the Ubar not just His actions but those of His Woman should He have one and His slave if He has one.
FREE WOMEN: The Women of Tuchuk are spirited and outspoken. They are not afraid to speak their mind and they know how to do so with respect. Tuchuk Men appreciate and value their wisdom and insight. The Woman here know and respect the Men and the way of life. They work side by side with Man and slave to make sure the camp and bosk thrive. The W/women here, Free and slave, wear golden nose rings.
SLAVES: Here in Tuchuk a slave is just that: a slave, property, a beast. All Tuchuk slaves personal or camp will be branded with the horns of Tuchuk, they will have a nose ring put in place and wear the clothes of a wagon camp slave, there are no exceptions. There are no silks here, what you do and how you act determines how you will be respected and treated. DISRESPECT OR DISOBEDIENCE MEANS DEATH (Total expulsion for the room forever).
